Eastbourne Summer Solstice Run - Chasing the Light
There’s something special about running on the longest day of the year, and this year’s Eastbourne Summer Solstice Run was no exception.
Running Into the Sunset
The beauty of the solstice run is its atmosphere, less about clock-chasing and more about the experience. The course offered stunning coastal views across the south downs, with runners moving in sync as the day turned to dusk. It was a chance to enjoy the freedom of running, surrounded by a fantastic local community.
From experienced runners to those just getting started, the event brought everyone together for a shared celebration of fitness, wellbeing, and the outdoors.
Tri Tempo Out in Force
It was great to see a strong turnout from Tri Tempo, with members embracing the relaxed, social vibe of the evening, enjoying the occasion.
There’s nothing quite like seeing familiar faces out on the course — supporting, encouraging, and sharing the moment.
Until Next Year…
As the sun finally set on the longest day, runners crossed the finish line with smiles all round — tired legs, but full hearts.
Here’s to more evenings like this.
If you’ve been inspired to get involved, come and join us at Tri Tempo — we’re always happy to welcome new faces, whatever your pace or experience.
